Time Flies

I can't believe we are almost half way through August. Summer is winding down, summer vacations are coming to a close and the kids are gearing up for back to school. I just took my final trip of the summer to the windy city Chicago. Spent a Friday afternoon at a Cubs game and made it back to Dallas on Saturday.

Trying to get back to normal after summer can be difficult. My summer has been very eventful with several trips. Now I need to buckle down. Although I was still working and going to school this whole time it is time for me to re-focus on work and school. I will also be starting contest diet in about 2-3 weeks.

I've remained active and working out hard and also playing hard. My diet has been a little inconsistent the past few weeks. I may start the diet a week early and ease my way back to eating 8 meals per day. Now I'm only getting 5-6 meals. Getting the 8 meals in for contest is pretty critical.

It looks like I will really need to get everything together in the next week or two so I can really concentrate on getting it right.

The plan is to compete at the Red River Classic in Norman, OK and finish the season in Houston for the Texas State Championships.

Come back often I will be posting my training, diet, and supplement regimen.

XO Kim

Hi Kim,
I just wanted to stop by and say you're not alone in the re-focus department. I'm focusing more on my diet too. I've been a bit inconsisent with my diet lately too. I think it always helps to know you're not alone in something. I also wanted to say good luck and may you reach all the goals you've set for your contest training.
Take care,
Nelson
