I just started contest diet this week. It's been almost a year since I've had to diet or do double sessions of cardio. Monday I started my diet and also extra cardio. It usually takes my body about 2 weeks to get used to no cheating and lower carbs.
Yesterday I hit the stadium to run stairs. It was a really hot and humid day, but I made it through in one piece. It felt pretty good to get back out there. Running stairs is brutal but one of my favorite workouts. Probably because it's hardcore and done in under 30 minutes.
I'm training one body part per day and still lifting heavy and will continue on that path until contest in September.
I will be in Dallas this weekend for one more interview and will make my final decision on a job.
