We all lose our motivation at some point in our lives and it's usually more than once. It seems to happen in cycles. We get all ready and fired up about something. Go full steam ahead and somewhere along the line the steam runs out.
We look for ways to get back the motivation. Many times it's through others. This can work for a while but we really need to look inside for our motivation.
We really should never completely look to others to pull us out of our slump. Friends, family, co-workers, and trainers can help keep you on the right track and be that cheerleader you need. But the truth is you need to look deep inside yourself to even get the motivation to change your job, your diet, and even getting up and back into a training routine.
We need to look inside to stay on the right track and keep ourselves eating healthy and getting to the gym or outside for a run. You even need to look inside yourself and get up and get to the gym to meet with your trainer.
Many people don't look deep inside. They choose to sit on the couch or at their desk at work and blow off their training session with their trainer. Think of it this way you are hurting yourself by not proving to yourself you have what it takes to keep yourself going. Look deep inside yourself. If you don't you have no reason to complain about being overweight and out of shape. Only you can have complete control of that. Not your trainer, your friends, or co-workers. Just You.
You need to find the motivation inside before others can help you.
